Method
- Peel the sugarcane and chop it into small cubes. prep
- Transfer the sugarcane and ginger to a mixer.
- Add a little water and blend until the sugarcane is well crushed.
- Strain the juice through a fine strainer, pressing the pulp to extract as much juice as possible.
- Repeat the process with any remaining sugarcane pieces.
- Squeeze half a lemon into the juice and add a pinch of salt if desired.
- Serve chilled and enjoy immediately!
