Ingredients
Method
- Peel the oranges and segment them, placing the pieces in a blender.
- Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the blender, if using. This step is optional.
- Blend the mixture on low to medium speed until the oranges are crushed into a pulpy texture. Avoid over-blending to prevent crushing the seeds, which can make the juice bitter.
- Set a juice strainer over a bowl or pan, then pour the orange mixture into it.
- Use a spoon to press the mixture through the strainer, moving the spoon around to ensure all the juice is extracted, leaving only the stringy pulp behind.
- If desired, sweeten the juice by adding sugar, honey, or jaggery to taste.
- Pour the freshly made juice into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes
Make sure to use sweet oranges to avoid needing additional sweeteners. For a colder drink, refrigerate the orange segments before juicing.
